I think it was last spring or perhaps the one before that, that I purchased some seeds hoping to plant them some day. Not sure if they come with an expiry date, nevertheless ventured into planting these Garden Nasturtiums a few days back. Somehow I have lost count of days, these days… Garden Nasturtiums represent victory in battle and conquest. I guess I need that as well, along with the sweet basil!

Sweet sweet Basil… Out of the handful that are thriving in my kitchen garden right now this is one of my favorite herbs. I am always curious to know the spiritual meaning of everything ? Good to know this amazing herb helps to steady the mind, brings happiness, love, peace, and wealth and protects against insanity. Need it now, more than ever before!

It’s been a while since this has been on, thankfully some things have not changed. I still wake up to the sound of birds, it’s different that I doze off again. Tuning in more than usual, checking in with my own thoughts often keeps me calm and contained. Even though the pace of a lot of other things is the same, which is good in a way, I am using my time in better ways. At least I am catching up on my sleep and my reading, of course my writing as well. Wish I could say the same about exercise. When I am contained within, I am still. When I am empty, I spill…

I have always enjoyed labyrinths, since ever… This is something I recently purchased and somehow after ‘playing’ with it for a bit I gave up… It didn’t work maybe coz it was too big, maybe. It was not designed right maybe…I just didn’t feel comfortable using it, felt I couldn’t control it. Every few days I would pick it up and then after the balls rolled into each inner circle I would let it rest, hoping to come to it some other day. Y’day I picked it up again, and somehow managed to roll them all in! Felt like a victory!! P.S. Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world. LLabyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools.

Feel free to send in your thoughts.
