The mom escorted the fledgling to the feeder a few days ago and helped her with her meal. She watched as her little girl nibbled on a tiny seed. The next day the dad came and checked the feeder first. The mom flew in for a quick bite only after that. The little girl looked around as if figuring out her environment while she perched on the hanger. She sat down on the waterer for a while and took a few sips.
