Pause and Notice

This is a personal journey of healing, marked by gratitude.

When you sit down and relish all the goodness around you, available to you, in spite of anything and everything that is showing up in your life, and fill your heart with gratitude for everything you take for granted, life seems a lot more blissful.

Art Journaling Activity to follow along: Take a look at your feet. Keep gazing. Keep watching. Observe. Draw your feet at the bottom of the page. You don’t need to be exact. What do you feel? What’s the first thing that comes to your mind? Are you feeling grounded, or stuck? Start writing everything that’s on your mind. If you feel grounded, write a note of gratitude to your feet.

Thank them for every place they have taken you to, every person they have brought you to, every event they have carried you to, and all the moments made possible by your feet. Since you were a baby, just learning to walk, and now till now.

To the future, too. Smile at them. Write it all down. If you are feeling stuck, write that, too. Keep writing. Once you have filled up the entire page, keep writing, but this time, write what you want from your life—what will help you move on. Take a deep breath.
