The mom escorted the fledgling to the feeder a few days ago and helped her with her meal. She watched as her little girl nibbled on a tiny seed. The next day the dad came and checked the feeder first.
The mom flew in for a quick bite only after that. The little girl looked around as if figuring out her environment while she perched on the hanger.
She sat down on the waterer for a while and took a few sips. She got something to nibble and took flight. The dad flies in for his meal finally, after his girls are all done.
What an experience to cherish, visited a sunflower farm last week, the moment I finished collecting my bunch, there was a downpour and the whole farm transformed into a marvelous splendor. On our way back we also got to witness a beautiful rainbow. An hour drive from where we live but totally worth it. Wish we had gone last month, would have been a great time to pick some berries.
